India’s remarkable turnaround in the Indore Test is once again due to the batting brilliance of skipperVirat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane. For all the talk of pitch conditions being tweaked to give the hosts a big advantage, it is these two whohave made the difference. Just after tea on Sunday, Kohli (211) and Ajinkya (185*) have already left New Zealand staring at a possible 3-0 whitewash. Their 365-run partnership is now India’s highest for the fourth wicket while Rahane is also closing in on a maiden double century.
