A very shameful incident has been recorded due to demonetization where an Ex-Serviceman of CRPF who served the nation in 90s, shot himself after facing problems while withdraw cash from his own bank account
A CRPF soldier , who had been survived by five bullets to his chest in a dread terror assault in Kashmir's Baramulla in 1990, shot himself on Saturday morning after supposedly neglecting to withdraw his own money from the bank even after multiple visits, his son told the Times of India.
Rakesh Chand (54), who served the nation as head constable retired in 2012, had attempted to withdraw the cash he required urgently for his medical treatment from SBI's Tajganj branch each & every day, with failure .
The occupant of Budhana town in Agra purportedly shot himself with his authorized handgun, his son told the newspaper.
"My dad critically required cash for the treatment of his heart condition. He used to get a month to month benefits of Rs 15,000, of which he required Rs 6,000-7,000 for specialist's visit and medicines ," Sushil Kumar, Chand's son, told the paper.
The bullet he took to the chest had abandoned him with a heart condition.
