"No cash payments for more than Rs 5000" : Finance Minister

New Delhi: If you works for or provides services to Government than be ready to accept all the payments above Rs 5000 via e-payment because Government is planning toward cashless ecomony.

All installments, payment and dues by the  government surpassing Rs 5000 to providers, contractors and temporary workers will now be made electronically, the ministry of finance has commanded, in a roundabout dated 5 December.

Prior, the breaking point was Rs10,000.

The fund service's diktat is in accordance with its endeavors to advance computerized installments in the nation. As an initial step, it is empowering government offices and government authorities to utilize computerized implies for their installments.
